At Jointly, we connect local communities through 'Hubs' — groups of families, clubs, and organisations — to provide super-fresh produce that’s affordable, fair, and thoughtfully sourced. Here’s how it works:

  1. Create or join a Hub: Use our platform to start or join a Hub in your local area.

  2. Membership: Sign up by selecting ‘Claim Offer’, then browse and select your local Hub.

  3. Ordering Process:

    • Curated Shopping List: Choose from a weekly list of seasonal fruit, vegetables, and selected local products.
    • Mystery Boxes: Opt for a Mystery Box for extra value — built around surplus or abundant produce to reduce food waste.
    • Flexibility: Most members order weekly or fortnightly, but there are no contracts — you can skip or stop anytime.
  4. Distribution & Pickup:

    • Logistics: Jointly manages ordering, payments, supplier coordination, and Hub delivery.
    • Pickup: Produce arrives packed and sorted, ready for collection at your Hub during the designated pickup window.
    • Communication: Members can contact us via email (hello@jointly.shop), phone (0447 253 420), or the chat icon on the website. You manage your shopping list online and receive reminders each week.
  5. Key Dates & Operations:

    • Weekly Deal Window: Prices and products are updated every Wednesday by 3:00 pm. Orders close at 8:00 pm Wednesday for fruit and vegetables. (Public holidays may affect timing — any changes are shown in the site’s top banner.)
    • Pickup: Friday between 3:00–5:30 pm at your Hub (some Hubs have slightly different pickup times — these are clearly shown in your Hub details).
  6. Sourcing & Freshness: We prioritise sourcing from Mornington Peninsula farms and local producers wherever possible. When needed, we supplement from trusted Victorian and Australian growers via the Melbourne Market. Local produce is typically delivered within 24–48 hours of harvest, with interstate items usually within 2–4 days — ensuring maximum freshness and flavour.

  7. Pricing & Value: Our pricing is designed to stay competitive with major supermarkets while paying farmers fairly. By operating through community Hubs, minimising overheads, and reducing waste, we’re able to offer strong value without compromising quality or freshness.

  8. Sustainability & Packaging:

    • Low-Waste Model: We actively reduce food waste through seasonal buying, Mystery Boxes, and careful ordering.
    • Packaging Choices: We minimise packaging wherever possible. When plastic is used, it’s done intentionally — only where it genuinely extends shelf life and reduces food waste.
    • Recycling & Reuse: Produce boxes and cartons are reused across Hubs or recycled responsibly. Many Hubs also return boxes each week to keep the system circular.

Current and Future Plans:

  • Active Hubs: Mt Martha, Bittern, Somerville, Rye, South Frankston, and Harkaway.
  • Growth: We’re expanding steadily across Victoria as new communities express interest.
  • Start a Hub: If you’re interested in hosting or helping start a Hub in your area, contact us at hello@jointly.shop or call Peter on 0447 253 420.
