We're doing things a little differently than the regular online marketplace sites, we are giving you the power to negotiate for a better price by getting together with other like-minded buyers to purchase in bulk from quality sellers. This helps the seller to generate more sales of the same products while giving you buying power, the outcome is that you get a great product at a great price, the only cost to you is a bit of time! Start a Hub or join in individually and Jointly will do all the heavy work for you!

There are 3 steps to join in:

1. Search for or Create a product
2. Get in on a deal with others (individually), or
   Join an existing Hubthrough a shared link, or
   Create a Hub with/for friends, family, teammates, or anyone.
3. Choose an open offer from sellers, or set up your requirements to let sellers know what would earn your purchase.

Key Features 

• Tools Provided: Jointly platform (accounts, ordering, produce pick-up), marketing material, training, and support.

• Convenient Setup: Needs a covered packing area, internet access, scales and some tables. 

Requirements 

• Age: Must be 18+. 
• Skills: Good communicator, organised, and good on socials. 
• Location: Needs a suitable packing area; check with strata if in an apartment. 
• Community: At least 250 families in your town for a successful Hub. 

How to Start 

1. Set Up: You’ll need a big enough shaded area to pack and store the products. 
2. Hub Creation: Jointly creates the Hub and the links for you to invite members into the Hub, you’ll need at least 14 families with the aim of having 28 – 55max (depending on the size of your area) – Clubs, Churches, Community houses may have larger Hubs as they will most likely have more space and volunteers. 
3. Admin: Hub members order through the platform and Jointly sends out all the receipts and a confirmation of orders to customers. 
4. Delivery: Jointly delivers the products to your Hub in bulk with a shopping list. 
5. Packing: On the specified day you’ll be required to pack the individual box’s using the packing list and distribute orders ready for a 2-hour pick-up window (allow 5-7hrs for an average Hub). 
6. Co-ordination: You manage the Hub and co-ordinate your pick up time & deliveries (if you offer delivery), it is your responsibility to deal with any questions or issues, etc. through the internal Chat and we are available for support. 
7. Business registration: You’ll need an ABN to receive payments, if you don’t have one it is easy to set it up in your own name (no required name registration) but we do suggest chatting to your accountant as different people have different circumstances.  The payments will be automatically processed the day after pick up has been completed. 
8. Promote: We will provide QR promotional cards to drop around your neighbourhood, a Facebook page (don’t create your own), links for Facebook, Instagram, X, Whatsapp are available within the Hub, encourage members to share these and use the materials to  promote your Hub.

• Support: Regular updates about local farmers and produce. 
• No Investment: Free to start a Hub. 
• Flexible: Option for home delivery (You can co-ordinate this within your chat). 
• Safety: For those that are joining the Hub we will ask for peoples address, contact numbers and confirm with Two Factor Authentication.  Be wise, for example we would not recommend inviting people inside your home and to have your Hub in a spot where access is straight forward.    
• Income: 15% of total turnover for Fruit & Vegetable sales within your hub, other products will have a specific commission set according to their profitability.

1. Pick your deal by either:
   1. Directly accepting an existing offer from a seller. This option is only available if there are any open offers from sellers on this product. Otherwise, skip to step 1.b.
      You must first enter a location in the "deliver to" field (if the product requires delivery) so that we can rank offers for you. You may also enter your preferences to have Jointly find you the best offer.
      1. Select the best existing offer, either by clicking/tapping on the offer and then next step, or by clicking/tapping/hovering on the offer and then selecting the green tick button that appears on the right-hand side.
      2. Enter your details, optionally adding a new address or new payment method if you need. No payment will be charged unless your chosen offer gets enough purchases to satisfy the seller, after which payment will be charged when the offer closes (these details are shown on the offer-list step). We'll keep you updated through this process with email alerts.
      3. Choose whether to "Activate the Jointly deal-finder". If enabled, we will scan all offers made by sellers after you sign up to buy. If one comes along that's better in every way (price, delivery date, seller rating, etc), we'll automatically assign you to this new deal instead. This is the Jointly preferred option, as it lets us assign maximum numbers to the best offer, increasing the chances of a successful deal.
   2. If the product has no open offers (or if you choose to click "Or, enter your own price"), you can tell us what would earn your purchase, and we'll negotiate with sellers on your behalf.
      1. Enter the maximum price you would like to pay, and the delivery date you want to receive the product by. Make it realistic! Sellers won't want to make an offer for you if the price is too low or date too soon.
      2. Optionally, you may expand "More options", and enter a minimum star rating for the seller (we recommend 3.7) and a Tie-breaker that we'll use to choose between offers if there are several that meet your requirements.
      3. Move to the next step, and enter your details. Note no payment will be charged unless an offer is made that meets your requirements and that offer earns enough purchases to satisfy the seller. We'll keep you up to date with email alerts through this process.
2. Review and confirm everything in the final step, and read and accept our Terms and Conditions.
3. Once the deal is completed and successful you will be sent a confirmation email with the details of the successful seller that met all your requirements.
4. The successful seller will be sent your details and will be in touch alerting you to the progress and delivery of your order.
5. If the seller's minimum purchase quantity for your deal were not met you will be notified and no charges will apply.
6. You have completed the process to get your product at a great price!
